1/25/10 Meeting & Up Next for 2/1/10 Meeting---- 6:30 START TIME
Nice job last night. We covered pages L3-40 to L3-122 which focused exclusively on the Base Umpires responsibilities working from Position A. The whole class actively participated and added to the discussion and review. A special thanks to our guest attendees - Jerry Westphal, Jim Amaral, Tom Ruiz and Bill Shortridge who provided some key clarifications, expanded points of emphasis and "voices of experience" to our classroom discussion.
Next Monday, 2/1/10 at 6:30 we will pick up at L3-123 and close out concepts 68-75 (BU goes out on trouble balls) and then we will roll into Base Ump in positions B & C starting on pages L3-143.
I encourage the Level 3 class to review the material we will be discussing in advance.
