Ump Uniform and gear

Ryan is a new umpire this year and has not been instructed in any gear or uniform.  Who would provide direction for those?  And may he attend the training anyway?

Thank you,

Spring Mechanics Clinic - 02/14/10 – Day 2 is at ARC ...

Hi Everyone,

For those of you attending the clinic tomorrow, just wanted to clear up some confusion ...

The ARC field should be in excellent shape once the morning dew dries.

Please go to ARC for the clinic tomorrow ...

Location:
American River College Baseball Complex
4700 College Oak Dr
Sacramento, CA, 95841

Please dress comfortably in athletic clothing. Be prepared for both work on the grass and concrete areas.

Please bring a sack lunch if possible so we can stay to the "tight" schedule we have developed. We are attempting to get everyone out of there by 3:00pm (maybe a little earlier if we can keep things moving well and on a good tempo) for Valentine's Day observance.

See you tomorrow ...

Thanks ... Swanny

Valentines Day Clinic

A huge "Thank You" to Swanny and all the instructors who ran the ARC Clinic. Once again, I came away with a few new 'nuggets' to add to my growth.  It was bonus finishing early  to spend time with my wife....

LL Sec 4 & NCOA Spring Mechanics Clinic 02/14/10:

What a great day !!!

So many familiar faces ... So many new faces ...

We had 60+ umpires out there learning and sharing together all to get better ...

Every time I think we can't top this, you all do it - even on Valentine's Day ...

Thanks for your efforts. If you like what you learned and saw, recommend these clinics to your friends and those interested in umpiring. We want to build a strong umpire community.

Remember: The better you get - the more fun this will all be ...

I know you can't beat the price ...

We all look forward to seeing you out there on the yard ...

Thanks again ... Swanny
